Firstar Logistics Company Limited was established and registered in early 2009 to provide economic and efficient logistics services and to create value for our clients.

Firstar logistics is a licensed Ghana customs agent and is also a member of the Ghana Institute of Freight Forwarders (GIFF) and an affiliate member of the international Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport.

All business effected by Firstar is in accordance with both Ghana and international safety regimes including hazardous cargoes (IMDG and ISPS permitting and marking) and cargo handling is to LOLER standards ensuring safety of personnel and cargoes both through the ports and enroute to end user locations.

Firstar provides a complete range of customs clearing and freight forwarding either combined as a through reception and delivery or separately as required. Current clients include the Ghana medical & health care ministries and a cross section of general importers in wholesale and retail distribution. General cargoes cleared and forwarded includes break bulk, vehicles, machinery, pharmaceuticaticals, cocoa and other agricultural goods both import and export.

Under transport services Firstar carry all general cargoes as well as heavy lifts and oversize/out-of-gauge cargoes and prefabricated structures.

Warehousing and cargo consolidation for both import and export is managed for clients.

Export shipping is arranged via registered shipping companies and their nominated agents on clients’ behalf.

All additional services arranged and managed for clients is charged at cost and transparently invoiced.
